Day - 01   Arrival at Chennai Airport.

Transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, visit some of the important Sightseeing places of Chennai like Bronze Museum,Fort St. George, St. Mary's Church, Santhome Church, Marina beach and Kapaleeshwara Temple dedicated for Lord Shiva, one among the three principal deities of Hindus. Overnight Stay at Chennai.

Day - 02    Chennai - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram

In the morning, drive to the Silk city named "Kanchipuram", an ancient capital of the Pallava dynasty ruled between 7th and 8th centuries. Visit the Ekambareshwara temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva is the most famous one with tall towers, massive halls with sculptured pillars. Next, proceed to Kailasanatha temple which is also meant for Lord Shiva is the finest specimen for Pallava architecture with beautifully carved sculptures built in 8th century. Have a lunch in the city. Drive to Mahabalipuram, an ancient port city of the Pallavas. Have a rest in the beach resort. Overnight Stay at Mahabalipuram.

Day - 03    Visit of Mahabalipuram UNESCO Sites

In the morning, visit the famous World Heritage UNESCO sites of Mahabalipuram. First, to the Sea Shore temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and Vishnu, and then to Five Rathas "Five Chariots", a monolithic structure, representing an unique style built by the Pallavas, then finally to Arjuna's Penance, Varaha Cave and Krishna's Butter Ball. Have a walk in the artisan's streets who makes stone sculptures. Return back to the Hotel. Overnight Stay at Mahabalipuram.

Day - 04    Mahabalipuram - Pondicherry

In the morning, drive to Pondicherry "The French Colony". Check-in to the hotel. In the late afternoon have a visit to Sri Aurobindo Ashram, an Ashram dedicated to Sri Aurobindo & "The Mother" Have a visit to "The Church of Sacred Heart" and "Notre dame des Anges", French Colony and markets. Have a rickshaw ride in the commercial streets. Have a rest in the hotel. Overnight Stay at Pondicherry.

Day - 05    : Pondicherry - Chidhambaram - Gangaikondacholapuram Darasuram Temples – Kumbakonam

After the breakfast, drive to Kumbakonam. Enroute visit the famous Nataraja temple dedicated to Lord Shiva at Chidhambaram. Then continue your drive to visit the famous Shiva Temple at Gangaikondacholapuram which was built in the 11th century by the Chola dynasty, one of the World Protected UNESCO Site. Have lunch in Kumbakonam city.In the late afternoon, visit the 12th century Chola temple dedicated to Shiva as Airavatesvara in a small village named Darasuram. Then proceed your drive to the Hotel. Overnight Stay at Kumbakonam.

Day - 06   Kumbakonam - Tanjore - Trichy

Drive to Tanjore. Visit the famous Tanjore Art Gallery which houses the collection of sculptures and statues, Saraswati Mahal Library Museum,Brihadeeshwara Temple also known as Big Temple which is one of the World Heritage Monument built by the chola dynasty in the 10th century. In the afternoon,Optional visit the Bronze Making Artisan to see the Bronze Casting. Then drive to Trichy. Climb the Rock Fort to visit a small Ganesha Temple at the top and also you can have a good panoramic view of the city from the rock. Overnight Stay at Trichy.

Day - 07    Trichy - Chettinadu

In the morning, Visit the famous places like 'Amma Mandapam" - the holy banks of River Cauvery, where you can see the Hindu rituals after the cremation. Its quite interesting to see the rituals performed by the Hindus with the help of the priest. Then proceed to visit the famous Vishnu temple at Srirangam, the most important pilgrimage centre for the Hindus. Drive to Chettinadu. In the evening have a village walk and see beautiful houses resemble like Palace. Have a rest in the hotel. Overnight Stay at Chettinadu.

Day - 08    Chettinadu - Madurai

Drive to Madurai. Visit the famous Gandhi Museum which was housed in a building once summer residence of Queen Mangamma of madurai.You can see the exhibits showing the life of Gandhi. Then have a visit to the famous Tirumalainayak Palace built in 17th century with grand pillars is the most attractive one. In the evening, visit the Meenakshi temple dedicated to Goddess Parvati and a thousand pillared hall with eye-catching sculptures. Overnight stay at Madurai.

Day - 09   Madurai to Periyar

Drive to Periyar. In the afternoon after reaching Periyar "the frontier between Tamil Nadu and Kerala", have a guided visit to the Spice plantations to know about the medicinal values about the spices like cardamom, vanilla, cinnamom, cloves, nutmeg, green chilly, pepper etc. In the evening, attend the Kerala Martial Arts Show called Kalaripayattu. Overnight stay at Periyar.

Day - 10   Periyar

Full day visit of Periyar (Thekkady). Do some activities like Elephant Ride, Forest trekking, Spice Plantation guided visit, Boat ride in Periyar Forest Lake.Overnight stay at Periyar.

Day - 11   Periyar - Alleppey Backwaters

After the breakfast, drive to Alleppey "the land of backwaters". In the afternoon check in the houseboat and have a delicious lunch and enjoy the cruise in the Vembanadu Lake for about 5 hours. In the evening, your boat will be anchored at the edge of Lake / Backwater. Take your dinner in the boat itself. Have a comfortable stay in the houseboat. The A/C will be switched on between 09:00 PM and 06:00 AM. Overnight stay at Alleppey Houseboat.

Day - 12   Alleppey - Marari

Drive to Marari. Have a relax in the beach homestay. Overnight stay at Marari.

Day - 13   Marari

Day free to relax in the beach shores. Overnight stay at Marari.

Day - 14   Marari - Cochin

Drive to Cochin. In the evening attend the Kerala Traditional Dance Show named "KATHAKALI". For this dance performance, the makeup starts at 05:30 PM. You can also see the makeup of dance artists and can take photos. Overnight Stay at Cochin.

Day - 15   Visit of Fort Cochin

After the Breakfast, visit the Mattancherry Palace (Dutch Palace), Jewish Synagogue and Jew Town. Return Back to Fort Cochin. Have a visit to some important monuments and churches belong to 15th and 16th centuries. First visit the St. Francis Church, the oldest protestant church built by the Portuguese in 1510, where you can see the tomb of a Portuguese Sailor Vasco-da-gama. Then to Santa Cruz Basilica, Catholic Church, Dutch Cemetry and Chinese Fishing nets. Overnight Stay at Cochin.

Day - 16   Departure at Cochin International Airport.

Drive to Cochin. Departure at Cochin Airport.
